Making art objects that are inherently fragile and temporal rather
than permanent objects that would be archived, I hope to make parallel
to the nature of our own existence. The work is meant to be served
as a mediation on time, memory, and state of the human condition.

Young Kim |
Young Kim studied at Austin
Peay University in Clarksville, TN with a major in Graphic Design.
He holds a master degree in Photography / Mixed Media from University
of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. His works were exhibited in numerous
group and solo shows. Young Kim received several prestigious
awards. He worked as a graphic designer and director in from
1991 to 1997. From 1995, he began to work as Teaching Assistant
and Visiting Assistant. He is an Assistant Professor in West
Virginia University, Morgantown, WV. |
