There appear chairs in my work. I intended to show my position and
real existence living in this modern era. My proper position and
my identity are not those of myself alone, but those of adapting
to and consenting to the modern time. The numerous chairs seem to
be empty, but fully filled. This work of mine represents only images
regularly or irregularly reflects myself at this moment.
“Where Is … I” looks three-dimensional with
five sheets of glass sand-blasted on colored glass. The chairs seem
to be real ones in an auditorium. The transparent glass release the
images of the chairs engraved on the back side as if we saw them
in the front. For me, chairs imply my desire and will for the good
work.
