Rose Umerlik received her BFA from Syracuse University, College of Visual and Performing Arts in New York in 1997. She had about 13 exhibitions in New Hampshire from 2005 to 2006 and many reviews from the Portsmouth Herald Spotlight. One of the review states, “Her paintings echo with a vague sense of space that is all the more arresting for its imprecise familiarity.” She is currently residing on the seacoast of New Hampshire And retain a studio in the Salmon Falls Artist Community in Rollinsford, NH.
