My abstract sculptures are inspired by contemplation of nature.
Working solely with rubber bands, I echo the structure of a molecular
cell, constructing my works unit by unit in an organic process where
the microcosm becomes macrocosm.

Hee Soo Kim |
Hee-Soo Kim received a BFA
in sculpture from Hong-Ik University, Seoul in 2003. Also he
studied at the School of Visual Arts with a major in Fine Arts
in 2006.
He has been an active member of “Clay & Photograph Group” in
Seoul, Korea from 1997 to the present. He has also been a member
in “The 34rd Annual Member of Hong-Ik Sculpture Association” in
Seoul, Korea in from 2003 to the present. |
