Christina Morono, Nude & Flowers Series I, Etching & Digital Print On Plexiglass, Final Composition like a Frame Box, 24 x 24”, 2004

This is my personal vision, and the way I represent the flight of time, and the “fleeting” of our lives, creating a symbiosis between the human body (the photography) and flowers (the print). Similarly, It is my way of seeing how nature, objects and people fade around us, without anyone noticing most of the time.

To me, we do not live by, we rather die day after day.
In my compositions, the gestures and volumes confirm and accept the passing of time, the straight line represents strength, the energy of life. The lines I draw represent my life, my way of understanding and registering the world around me.
